Ever so often I like to post a visual walkthrough so people can see the steps I take in my creative process.
I wanted to try a variation on the greaser pin-up girl theme I have been just experimenting with for a while now. This time after the final concept was sketched on paper, it was scanned and recreated using solid shapes tool.
Thinking about Suda51 games and Jet Grind Radio lately. Basic character design based on La Femme Nikita forced to fight etc. etc. I want to revisit this maybe in Anime Studio with a 15-30 sec. short clip.
It’s been a bit always tough to get back into illustration mode after the holidays. It’s not that I don’t draw it’s just time consuming to stay up all night rendering the sketch in Photoshop/Manga Studio with so much to do outside of work.
