This is the first year I did an illustration for Mermay a yearly tradition where an artist creates a mermaid design during the month of May. I also designed a modern version of Xayide the sorceress from The Neverending Story series.

Not really doing much sketching mostly going through some Clip Studio guides for animation and storyboard notes.

I did get a couple copies of my physical sketchbook collection dated 2018-2019. It’s still a strange feeling to have a year’s worth of drawings in a glossy hardbound book.

Last blog post for 2018 it’s been fun going through my illustrations and sketches through out the year. The art book is almost done so far its around 47 double sided pages, the best part is working mostly digital this year I didn’t have to clean up paper scans. I really enjoyed just experimenting this year and hope to push myself further into the new year.

Weekly Wrap-Up 12-8-18
