Evangelion is easily in my Top 10 series of all time close to GITS:SAC. 3.0+1.0 really wrapped up the entire series but gotta say looking forward to seeing Yoko Taro revisit the world of Eva. The initial SEELE x Neir plug suit illustration started as a lunchtime sketch when I first heard the news about the collaboration. The other illustration featuring Yoko and Misato was a weekend sketch that I wanted to use the Max Ulichney watercolor brushes I bought a while back.
Vandal from Marathon poses. I will not be playing Marathon but really enjoyed the short film and the numerous concept and production post made over at artstation. The last online game I tried to get into was the original Destiny.
Another illustration of Sajyou and Saber from Fate/strange Fake. Also Gabby from Daemons of the Shadow Realm some character poses.
Got into Fate/strange Fake mostly because of the soundtrack and stuck around for it because of the fight sequences. I know nothing about the Fate series but I watched a Youtube explainer to get the basics. Sajyou and Saber are so much fun to watch.
This season between Hell’s Paradise and Jujutsu Kaisen after watching the weekly episodes I pretty much open my iPad and start drawing.
Really fun season of Hell’s Paradise the last couple of episodes have really been special. Also of course Jujutsu Kaisen from the start of this season continues to be just purely inspiring Itadori vs. Higuruma.

Sorting out my iPad backup and collected a number of Procreate drawings into a couple of full page drawings on a spread. Towards the end of last year my late night drawings were based on a recent Kill la Kill rewatch and the most recent season of PSG.
Solo Leveling is just cool the production especially the score by Hiroyuki Sawano is just fun. I wanted to draw a fun illustration that jammed all the summons the main character Sung Jin-woo has collected over the short time so far in the series. Before working on an earlier Chainsaw Man drawing I did a pose sheet of Reze so I could get comfortable with drawing her for a larger illustration. I have learned it really helps to do a pose sheet to expand my drawing skills. Also I found a collection of Pinterest studies I never posted from a couple months ago.
Jujutsu Kaisen is in my books for being one of the most impressive anime produced. The various art style shifts and the way each animation director crafts each 20 min episode into art. One of the most recent episodes gave us so much over a single episode it felt like a 75 minute movie. Pretty much right after the episode aired I started thumb nailing some sequences I wanted to draw. That Maki Zeni episode was something special.
This year is the year of the Fire Horse based on Chinese zodiac I like to get in on the trend of creating a New Year illustration. Even though it doesn’t start until February 17, 2026 it seems every year people start the first of the year posting their drawings. A really fun show called Gachiakuta started and one of the really standout character characters is named Guita the oversized kaiju one piece just looks cool. Also a cleaned up late night Pinterest study I just had fun with the brush that night.
Sorting out my iPad Procreate files and Clip files to make backups and start new 2026 folders. Here are a couple fanart drawings I cleaned up and posted around a few places towards the end of last year. Chainsaw Man: Reze and To be Hero X really inspired me last year. I really hope to pick up both art books if they are announced.
